Master William Ott

January 1982:
 Master Ott begins training in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan under the guidance of Mr. Robert McGovern Warminster, Pa.

1985:
Master Ott obtains 1^st Dan from Master Chang Tong In

1987:
School is taken over by Master Chang Tong Kuk

1988:
Master Ott obtains 2^nd Dan from Master Chang Tong In

1990:
Master Ott leaves training with Master Chang.
Master Ott begins teaching with friend and associate at American Tang Soo Do Academy

1992:
Joins Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation under Grandmaster Kim Jae Joon
Master Ott obtains 3^rd Dan under Grandmaster Kim Jae Joon

1993:
Begins study under Master Fred Scott Amkor Karate Institutes Delaware County
Joins International Tang Soo Do Federation U.K. under Grandmaster Lee Kang Uk

1994:
September 20^th opens first school "AMERICAN TANG SOO DO" Roslyn, Pa.

1995:
Master Ott has the 1^st Annual American Tang Soo Do Karate Championships

1996:
Obtains 4^th Dan Masters' Rank under Lee Kang Uk

1997:
Coach of the United States Forms Team to Malacca Malaysia Silver Medal
Appeared in Black Belt Magazine & Inside Karate Magazine

1998:
Coach and team member International Tang Soo Do Federation team to Amateur Athletic Union Championships Boca Raton Fla. Silver Medal Team Form

2001:

Promoted to 5th Dan Tang Soo Do by Master Frederick Scott, Traditional Tang Soo Do.

2002:

Named Member Board of Directors Tang Soo Do Moo Do Association

Presented 7th Dan Aiki-Jutsu  by Grandmaster Neil Stellenberg .(Honorary)

2006:

Opens American Tang Soo Do Philadelphia. Mr. Hans Gochenaur majority owner and Chief Instructor.

2008:

Opens American Tang Soo Do Montgomeryville.

2009:

Master William Ott promoted to 6th Dan Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan by Master Frederick Scott.
